Jillian Bain Christie is my ‘go to’ soprano. She has premiered many of my works including the soprano solo in my First Symphony, and we have worked and continue to work together incredibly regularly.
I love her voice, her passion in performance and her dedication to the score. From The Queen of the Night Aria to a small Scottish Folksong, she treats all as a piece of art that needs care and a special vision.Professor Paul Mealor FRSA
